About Course
Answers the question: HOW DO I KNOW A TRUE CHRISTIAN FROM A FALSE ONE?
Being part of a local church can be a painful experience for some people because they had an encounter with a false Christian.
The truth is, not everyone who attends or serves in your local church is a true Christian. Jesus warned us that on judgment day, He will say to many who called Him Lord, Lord, and even served in their local churches;
“‘I never knew you; depart from Me,
you workers of lawlessness!’
(Matthew 7:23)
May that never be your fate.
Jesus said we shall know people by their fruit. How does a Christian measure up to the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control? (Galatians 5:22) Or do they exhibit the fruit of the flesh? (Galatians 5:19-21)
Suppose someone claims to be a Christian but talks and acts like a nonbeliever. How should you handle them according to the Bibe? They’re more dangerous than nonbelievers because they claim to know the truth, but they go against it. Such will get more lashes according to Jesus. (Luke 12:47-48)
Every time a Christian tolerates and accommodates false Christians in their lives, they are in great danger. The bad company will not only corrupt or contaminate them, but it will also dim their light and make them saltless, so they can’t have the impact God wants them to have.
In this course, you will examine yourself as a Christian, appreciate the need for growing in discernment, learn how to know a true Christian, and how to deal with a false Christian.
