Hello

One of my biggest frustrations in high school was my inability to access Christian content, primarily because I couldn’t afford it.

One day, my mum and I passed a bookshop on my way to boarding school. We stopped briefly at the window and saw the high prices. While walking away, I told her;

 “When I get the means, I’ll buy all the books I can, read them, and then write for those who can’t afford books.”

That’s over 22 years ago. By God’s grace, here I am writing content to nourish Christians and help them flourish in their lives and leadership.

My name is Hirwa G. Israel, a beloved child of God, a happy husband to Damalie, and a blessed father to Stephanie, Shekinah, and Samuel.

At different stages of my life growing up, I aspired to become a farmer (when we lived in Kisii, a village in Kenya), a medical doctor (after reading “Think Big” by Dr. Ben Carson in primary school), and a chef (because I love cooking).

God has assigned me the three tasks above in an interesting and unexpected way.

As a farmer, I nurture Christians to grow and flourish in their purpose, live out their identity, bear everlasting fruit, and complete their life’s assignments.

As a doctor, I prevent, diagnose, and treat conditions of the inner person. As a recipient of the Holy Spirit at salvation, a graduate of The Bible Training Centre For Pastors, a Certified Professional Coach, an Accredited DISC Coach, and a Certified Behavioural Consultant, God has equipped me to help people find solutions to their personal and professional problems.

As a chef, I prepare biblical content to nourish and train God’s people. During my university days, I edited a campus magazine, published several articles and books, and developed training manuals on various topics.

The tasks of prevention, treatment, nurturing, and cooking moved my wife and me to start Pass On Leadership Africa, whose mission is to raise an army of Christian trainers and leaders who are confident and competent in training others using the buffet of courses we’ve developed.

I’m grateful and indebted to my parents, pastors, mentors, facilitators, and many authors who have shaped me. The best way I can repay them is to pass on whatever good I’ve received from them to others who will do the same, to the glory and honour of God.

who receives me receives the Father who sent me.

If you receive a prophet as one who speaks for God,

you will be given the same reward as a prophet.

And if you receive righteous people because of their righteousness, you will be given a reward like theirs.”

(Matthew 10:40-41)
